Fripp Design and Research is a Sheffield based Product Design, Research and Business Consultancy. Fripp Design and Research's business is unique because, not only do we consult and design for clients; we also develop our own intellectual property. This means we have all the skills necessary to bring new products and services to market; skills including design, marketing, manufacture, business development, business management and people management too.

We were the first private sector organisation approved by Yorkshire Forward to provide Innovation Vouchers services to SME businesses in the Humber and Yorkshire Region. We are, also, suppliers of Designing Demand, an initiative of the Design Council with BERR (which is administered by Business Link Yorkshire; who we are also registered suppliers to).

We provide Design and Research services to the Engineering Design CIC at Leeds University as they lack the commercial design experience afforded to them by Fripp Design and Research.

We recently helped Sheffield University secure £510K of funding for a research project on rapid manufacture (of which we are the research partner).

Our design, research and business team are all educated to Masters Level and we use the latest software from vendors such as Solidworks, Rhino, Materialise and Hypershot. We have wide experience in web development and Search Engine Optimisation.

Our design skills are from concept development through to prototyping and manufacture and our business skills cover all aspects of business management and administration. Our clients include G4S, Boots, Sagentia and Coca-Cola.
