Eadon Consulting was formed from a desire to provide a fresh approach to design consultancy. With staff whose experience ranges from design and manufacture through to installation and commissioning, we can provide a complete design solution from concept to detailed manufacturing drawings.

For a design to be successful it is important to consider all of the disciplines within the project throughout the design process. We are in a rare position to do this, able to call on our broad experience in mechanical, control, hydraulic and structural design, ensuring that an integrated solution is developed.

We have a number of analytical techniques available, from hand calculations based on sound engineering principles through to detailed finite element analysis. Working across a number of industries has provided us with exposure to a variety of design principles and standards. This means we are able to select the most appropriate technique for the application, ensuring timely and accurate results are achieved.

Our work includes the design of mechanical equipment used on moving bridges, bespoke access gantries and machinery, lock gate and waterways design, as well as the design of handling and lifting equipment for the nuclear and aerospace industries and the seismic analysis of cranes and structures.
